I started my career on the Wichita Police Department in the 1990s, serving in Patrol, as a Field Training Officer, on Mounted Patrol, and as a School Resource Officer. Those years taught me the value of serving communities, training others, and staying calm under pressure—skills that continue to shape my approach to technology leadership today.

Today, I serve as Director of Technology at Grace Hill Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska, where I bridge the gap between cutting-edge innovation and faithful ministry. I've implemented AI-powered systems that free our staff from administrative burdens—allowing them to spend more time where ministry actually happens: with people.

I'm also the Owner and Founder of Marigold ONE11, an AI Solutions Agency helping mission-driven organizations harness technology for greater impact. And as Co-founder of AI Omaha—one of the region's largest AI communities with over 900 members—I regularly facilitate conversations about responsible AI adoption across industries.

With over 20 years of technology leadership, I have a passion for translating complex technical concepts into practical, actionable steps. I believe AI isn't about replacing human connection—it's about enabling more of it. Every hour spent on administrative tasks is an hour not spent with the widow who needs a visit or the new family who needs welcome.
